On Sunday, the captain of the Washington Capitals, Alexander Ovechkin, took a cheap shot on Blackhawks' defenseman Brian Campbell that appears to have ended Campbell's season. Ovechkin clearly charged Campbell, and, with the puck clearly gone, continued to follow through on a lethal hit that has reportedly broken Campbell's collarbone, rib and gave the blue liner a 2nd degree concussion.
