2010 Super Fantasy Rankings: Top 10 Fantasy Forwards

Ever wonder which fantasy rankings you should go by?   We have complied a list using 15 different fantasy rankings to create a super ranking.  This is the third and final column in the Super Ranking trilogy.

Four teams have two players listed in the top 10 so you can expect those teams to be highly offensive therefore in deeper rounds of your draft try to draft the third player on that top line as they will see an increase in production.  Here are the top 10 forwards:

1. ALEXANDER OVECHIN (WASHINGTON)—Ovechkin was ranked as the No. 1 fantasy player on 12 lists and ranked as No. 2 on the other three.  Ovechkin is the stat king as he will score goals, points, powerplay points, shots, and takes his fair share of penalties.

2. SIDNEY CROSBY (PITTSBURGH)—Crosby was ranked as high as No. 1 on three lists and as low as No. 3.  Crosby proved he could be more than just a playmaker by scoring 51 goals last season, 18 more than his career average.

3. NICKLAS BACKSTROM (WASHINGTON)—Backstrom was ranked as high as No. 3 and as low as No. 6.  Ovechkin’s set-up man is starting to show he ca ...
