2010 NHL Playoffs: Enough With Philly Bashing

The first round NHL series between the Philadelphia Flyers and New Jersey Devils moves to Philadelphia tonight. Naturally, the Devils fans will talk badly about the people of Philadelphia.

It's their favorite pasttime. It's something they have to do when both teams face each other.

There's nothing like going through Devils message boards, reading through the junk about Philadelphia fans being mean and unruly.

Many Devils fans whined about the behavior of Flyers' fans in the first two games at the Prudential Center.

Close-circuit to those folks. Get over it.

There are always going to be bad people anywhere. It does not just end in this country. Go to a soccer game in Europe, and those folks take it up a notch.

Fans get carried away during the course of a game. This type of act takes place here at the Prudential Center—by the Devils fans of all people.

Let's not get holier than thou.

These things happen when teams serve beer at games. Odds are, people would behave well if teams did not cater to the lowest common denominator by offering alcohol.
