20 Reasons To Be Excited About Watching the Toronto Maple Leafs

In no certain order, I’m excited about watching the Leafs because…

 It’s a new season and anything can happen!  The new-look jerseys are off the hook!  The laser-light show at the ACC surpasses the Vancouver Olympics.  They are a young team and are just going to get better.  They finally have a gritty Captain! Dion Phaneuf, no surprise, still  hype.  They are going to be one hell of a tough physical team, night in and night out!  They have two solid goalies with the best nicknames in the league, J.S. Giguere, "Giggy" and Jonas Gustavsson, "The Monster."  There’s always a chance of bumping into Leafs alumni at the games.  They have two of the toughest guys per weight class in the league in Colton Orr and Mike Brown.  Tomas Kaberle is still with the Leafs—for now!  Tim Brent is the surprise third-line centre, and he tipped in the first goal of the 2010/11 season.  The Leafs are healthy and deeper than in the past six years.  Phil Kessel could score 50. Hey, it’s possible!  They can’t possibly shoot the puck from as many bad angles as they did last year. & ...
