The bank is officially open for the NBA playoffs.
After Derrick Rose banked in a game-winning three-pointer Friday against the Cleveland Cavaliers, Paul Pierce knocked one in off the board for a game-winner of his own against the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday.
After hitting the shot, ESPN's Chris Broussard asked if the 37-year-old Washington Wizards veteran called bank. Pierce's response was priceless (via Bleacher Report NBA):
Pierce finished with 13 points and seven rebounds in the 103-101 win for the Wizards, who take a 2-1 series lead over the Hawks. Atlanta might have overcome a 21-point deficit, but the Wizards still got the victory.
