Will We Witness A Hedo Turkoglu Renaissance?

Last summer, Hedo Turkoglu opted out of his contract to become a free agent and test the waters.  He received interest from both Portland and Toronto, before spurning Portland and backing out of an agreement, to sign with the Raptors.  

Unfortunately, for both Hedo and the Raptors, the marriage did not work out.  He had his worst season since before donning a Magic uniform and he played six less minutes a game.  For much of the season, Hedo appeared uninterested, unmotivated, and out of shape.  

Late in the year, he called in sick for a game, then was reportedly seen in a Toronto night club.  The incident caused quite a stir, but Hedo had some form of a logical explanation for his appearance there.  It never resolved the matter, though, and Toronto fans held the grudge.

Hedo has a new chance this year.  He was dealt to the Suns and will team up with Steve Nash in a high octane exciting offense.  Because Hedo is able to make plays, it will relieve Nash of some of his ball handling duties, which will enable Nash to spot up for open jumpers.  This a good thing, by the way, if you shoot 50+ percent fr ...
