Will There Be Celtic Pride in the 2010 NBA All Star Game?

During Monday night's Celtics/Clippers match up (which we will not talk about due to end result), CSN commentators Donny Marshall and Mike Gorman informed Celtic fans how our favorite players are faring in the 2009-2010 All Star Game voting thus far.

As an avid basketball fan, particularly of the Celtics, I consider myself fairly well versed in the sport, its teams, and its players. Apparently, "fans" involved in the NBA All-Star voting are not quite as well versed.

First, let's take a look at how the Celtics starters (and one bench player) stand as of December 24th,  according to InsideHoops.com . Keep in mind that this is only a breakdown of the East squad, the West squad I could not care less about because it's the same bunch every year.

For guards, Ray Allen is fourth in voting with 385,744 votes, while Rajon Rondo is eighth with 203,252 votes. For forwards, Kevin Garnett is second with 1,113,213 votes and Paul Pierce is fourth with 263,189. For centers, Rasheed Wallace is eighth with 66,304 votes and Kendrick Perkins is ninth with 40,057.

Fairly shocking results if you ask me. ...
