Why the Best Move Is No Move for the Toronto Raptors

Ahh, the trade deadline. One of the most fun and exciting times of the season. Heck, some people have even stopped mentioning the 2010 free agency. There are many teams that are looking to improve to contender status, and one of them are the Raptors.

However, I suggest that they do one thing, and that is nothing.

The Raptors are looking quite strong right now, and have won 10 out of the last 13 games. They currently sit at 29 wins and 23 losses, which is good enough for fifth place in the East. Bryan Colangelo has stated that he's satisfied with this position, but would like to try and push for fourth or even third.

Can they realistically catch Boston or Atlanta?

In one word, yes.

The Raptors have finally meshed and are playing as a team and as one of the league's best teams. If Hedo Turkoglu keeps playing on a high level, nobody will want to face this team in the playoffs.

Right now, they are playing great, and I don't really think that Colangelo should change anything. Reggie Evans will give the team a spark off the bench and help with the boards.

Sure, it would be nice to have a starting shooting ...
