Why Allen Iverson is “The Answer” for the New York Knicks

Allen Iverson is one of the greatest players to ever play the game of basketball and arguably the third or fourth best scorer in league history. 

Yet his career is on the line after being waved by the Grizzlies due to a lack of communication between the two sides.

Iverson is contemplating retirement but Iverson's manager Gary Moore said Iverson would still love to play and still has a lot left in the tank. He says Iverson would love to play for the New York Knicks.

According to the Daily News, the Knicks are supposed to meet Iverson on Wednesday.

Iverson is a man of faith. He believed God chose the Memphis Grizzlies and that high faith he has in God is the same faith he has in himself. Iverson kept that faith and now I believe God may reward him with a spot on the Knicks where he can excel. 

The Knicks need Allen Iverson right now. They are 1-9 and in need of a scorer who can bring that energy to Madison Square Garden. Iverson would obviously fill the arenas. But the decision to sign Iverson is better for basketball reasons than it is for management reasons.
