Who Will the Knicks Get in Free Agency in 2010?

For the last several years, teams, players and fans have all looked forward to one day: July 1, 2010, the start of free agency in the NBA for that offseason. But this upcoming offseason will be bigger than any other year, as many different stars will now be eligible to join a new team, which could bolster that team on their way towards an NBA Championship. The most high-profile team leading up to this free agency has been the New York Knicks, as there has been much speculation on who the Knickerbockers might pick up as they will attempt to win their first NBA title since 1973. Since the Knicks management has replaced Isiah Thomas for Donnie Walsh and Mike D'Antoni, the Knicks have started to dump players and their salaries in order to make cap room for the 2010 Free Agency. In this article, I will name the players that could be pursued by the Knicks in the free agent market, why they will or will not join the Knicks and if they will play their home games at Madison Square Garden next year.Begin Slideshow
