What’s Next for the Boston Celtics

My previous article was before Game 6 of the NBA Finals, saying no matter what happened that this was the Celtics' last run. After two road losses, The Celtics left LA with nothing to show for this season. This leaves Celtics fans asking: What Now?

First, I will go through The Big Three:

Kevin Garnett: While he is locked up 'till 2012, (correct me if I'm wrong) there are two scenarios where he leaves Boston: The first scenario, and probably the least likely is him retiring. I personally don't see him hanging up the sneakers just yet, but he is 34. The other scenario is if Allen and Pierce were to leave, Garnett would ask for a trade and his wish would be granted. He seems as the most likely of the Big 3 to stay.

Ray Allen: Many had him being traded at the trade deadline but that didn't happen. Now, Allen is a free agent. Like Garnett, Allen could also retire but I doubt it. You'd think he'll wait it out and see what happens before making a decision. I'd say he is the most likely to leave out of The Big Three.

Paul Pierce: He has always been a Celtic. With a player option, I would be shocked to see Pierce in any other uniform. Y ...
