What We Learned from Week 1 of Houston Rockets Camp

Consecutive exits from the first round of the NBA's Western Conference playoffs over the past two seasons have the Houston Rockets searching for the right path to a deep postseason run. 

In Week 1 of training camp, it was apparent that those early departures were unacceptable. From the front office all the way down to the players, everyone's tone reflected an attitude of focus and chasing an NBA title. 

It's early still, and there's plenty more to glean from this squad as the preseason takes shape. But as expected, the chatter about where the Rockets are headed started up front with their most recent star acquisition.
