The New Jersey Nets have just announced GM Kiki Vandeweghe will be their new head coach.  Best of luck to ya Kiki.

What if they had hired Coach Avery Johnson?

Why not, Johnson is still available!  After all we're talking a former Head-Coach of the Year recipient with play-offs and finials experience.

He was a stellar point-guard in his days, and got a ring with the San Antonio Spurs.  His only fault is when he became a coach he forgot to hang up his jersey and shoes.

Could his strong, taller than his height persona be the thing the New Jersey Nets need?

Johnson could be a strong disciplinarian, just ask Dallas Maverick Dirk Nowitzki.  Johnson once fined Dirk $10,000.00 for kicking a ball in training camp. 

There was no actual harm to Dirk, he was just clowning around, or the ball for that matter...Even though it had cleared the gym rafters when Johnson nailed Dirk with the fine.

Johnson would create unity in the Locker-Room!

Yep!  Just ask any of the current or former Mavericks that he coach how rock-solid the Locker-Room ...
