What Does John Wall’s Arrival Mean To the Washington Wizards?

With the first pick in the draft, Washington selected John Wall.  

Wall will head to D.C. amongst wild anticipation and expectations from Wizards' fans, and they have a right to be thrilled by the good fortune of a franchise wading in disappointment over the last few seasons.  

Washington fans will welcome Wall to D.C. and then hail him the face of the franchise.  The addition of Wall will bring in a new era for the Wizards.

Wall won't be expected to lead the team to a title anytime soon, but he'll be expected to contribute from the get-go and give Wizards' fans a glimpse of a bright future with Wall at the helm.  

The soon-to-be rookie is composed in late game situations and a born leader who also happens to bear a 39" vertical leap to go with an enthralling overall game that will delight the Wiz faithful.

Wall's projected stats for his rookie season are anywhere from 12 points and eight assists, to 17 points and six assists, to 10 points and 9 assists, showing the unpredictability of the transition from college to the NBA.  

If he would reach the optimistic projections around 15 to 1 ...
