What Are They Teaching At Golden State?

Picture this! You've been there or you've seen it if you've watched a Golden State Warriors game.

Warriors go on a run, the threes are falling left and right. The ball is whipping around the perimeter and the Warriors are on fire. Five point lead goes to ten, then fifteen, our boys are humming.

Tweet! Foul! Andris Biedrins. His third foul in the first quarter. Never mind that the team is up 15 points and that layup the other team would have scored would have only amounted to 2 points.

Andris has now effectively helped the other team by taking his rebounding prowess off the floor and out of the game for an extended time. The entire flow of the game changes.

We might not see him on the floor again until five minutes left in the second quarter, because god forbid he picks up his fourth foul with another silly foul. Next thing you know the Warriors are getting out-rebounded on both ends of the floor, the lead evaporates and they're trailing at halftime.
