With 04.0 seconds remaining in the first half of the New York Knicks' battle with the Portland Trail Blazers, Ronnie Price created a loose ball. As the seconds tipped away, a usual suspect decided to make a play of the year candidate on the first day of 2013.

Carmelo Anthony picked it up, turned towards the basket and threw an improbable shot off the glass at the buzzer.

Twitter instantly responded, with fans and analysts alike sharing the praise for 'Melo's latest feat—and one that seems to be on par with what we're used to seeing from the offensive juggernaut.
