Not only did Wall record the triple-double, he also added another six steals, missing a quadruple-double by only four steals. Quite impressive! On top of that, it was only his sixth game as a pro!
Now the triple-double is something that LeBron is certainly familiar with as he recorded his first of the year and 29th of his career. So, I am not taking anything away from James, of course, but Wall recorded his first in just his sixth game and on a much worse team.
LeBron has played on some pretty bad teams himself, but Wall may be on one of the worst in the NBA.
Recording his first triple-double in just his sixth game puts him in the company with Hall of Famers such as Oscar Robertson and Magic Johnson. Now, LeBron will find himself in the same company as the gentleman who I just mentioned but no where near as quick.
While I am not saying Wall is better than LeBron right NOW, the possibility of him exceeding James in the future is there. James has often been declared "The King" and "The Chosen One" but what if this kid (Wall) can prove that he has more skills than LeBron?
