Warriors vs. Nuggets Video: Watch Andre Miller’s Game-Winner

With so much talent on the Denver Nuggets roster, it's hard to think that savvy, veteran point guard Andre Miller would be the one to take a potential game-winning shot in a playoff series.

Then again, with 18 points in the fourth quarter, the decision to put the ball in Miller's hands was actually not a decision at all.

With the Nuggets and the Golden State Warriors tied at 95, George Karl put faith in his 37-year-old backup point guard once more, and Miller didn't disappoint him.

Taking his time at the top of the key, Miller stared down rookie Draymond Green before making a simple crossover move to his left. Reaching the paint, he then veered back to the right in midair to put in a right-handed layup, giving Denver a 1-0 series lead over Golden State.

For a second, it looked like Stephen Curry would be the hero in this game.

With the Warriors losing by three and down to a final possession, Curry hit a deep three-pointer to knot up the game at 95, forcing Karl to call a timeout and giving him a chance to put Miller back in the game.
