Warriors vs. Lakers: Preseason Game Shortened Due to Dangerous Floor Conditions

The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Golden State Warriors 85-70 in a preseason showdown Saturday night, but the result was finalized after two-plus quarters because of dangerous floor conditions at the Valley View Casino Center in San Diego.

According to Lakers.com's Mike Trudell, wet spots on the hardwood ultimately forced the action to be canceled before the end of the third quarter.

ESPN.com's Baxter Holmes noted fans in attendance were not pleased with the decision:



Their wishes were granted shortly after the game was called. According to the Lakers' official Twitter account, full refunds will be provided to fans who return to the original point of purchase after noon Monday.
