Warriors Championship Banner, Ring Ceremony Twitter Reaction and Highlights

The Golden State Warriors raised their 2014-15 NBA championship banner prior to Tuesday's season opener against the New Orleans Pelicans at Oracle Arena in Oakland, California.

Doors to the Larry O'Brien Trophy holders' home court opened at 5:30 p.m. local time, per NBA.com, approximately two hours before the scheduled tipoff, so fans could settle in and bear witness to the spectacle.

The Warriors' Twitter account passed along video of the championship banner being unveiled:



But there were numerous other events that took place before that moment that were worth documenting as well.

The NBA's Twitter account revealed the championship jumpsuits Golden State players donned for warmups:



NBA Commissioner Adam Silver was on hand to deliver a rousing introduction before team owners Joe Lacob and Peter Guber received their championship rings. Team president Rick Welts was next in line for the prestigious jewelry and was followed by other executives, the coaching staff and finally the players.
