When I think of big playoff shots, I think of "Big Shot" Bob. I have no allegiance to the San Antonio Spurs or the Los Angeles Lakers, but there's no denying that Robert Horry has been one of those guys who delivers in the most critical moments. Horry is unlikely to make the Basketball Hall of Fame, but he's a fixture on my list of the biggest NBA playoff shots of all time. What defines that for me? It's the back breaker shot that stuns and changes momentum. Winning is crucial. So sorry, Jerry West, that was a miracle 60-footer back in 1970, but your team lost in overtime. Gar Heard, your shot was magical to force a third OT in "The Greatest Game Ever" in 1976 but the Celtics still found a way to beat the Suns. Stars are stars because they deliver in these moments, so there's plenty of Michael Jordan here. But sometimes the role player delivering makes the moment all the more special.Begin Slideshow
