The schedule put forth by the NBA with its Christmas Day offerings gave hoops fans a bounty of gifts.
But the Los Angeles Clippers have capped off the night with a series of highlight plays that could only be displayed by the team dubbed "Lob City."
What's ironic here, though, is the fact that one of their best plays didn't need lift off.
All it took was a shimmy from a man the Twitter world knows simply as @JCrossover (or Jamal Crawford to the rest of the basketball world).
Crawford delighted the Hollywood crowd with a highlight reel befitting of the entertainment world of generations past. He masterfully handled the basketball like a puppeteer, leaving 13-year veteran Andre Miller frozen in time.
Of course, Crawford has shown off these kind of handles before. I mean, you don't just stumble into a Twitter handle like that by accident.
But that doesn't make the move even less impressive.
Not to mention the fact that the play takes on a new life thanks to an unexpected gem of a call from star-turned-substitute-commentator (and longtime Clippers fan) Billy Crystal.
