VIDEO: Anderson Varejao Posterizes Los Angeles Lakers’ Jordan Hill

Magic Johnson wasn't kidding when he said that the Los Angeles Lakers needed to improve defensively.

Judging by the way that they played during the first quarter against the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight, it doesn't appear as though the Purple and Gold got the message. L.A. yielded 29 points to the punchless Cavs in the opening frame, two of which came on the thunderous slam above by Anderson Varejao.

A couple of up-fakes were all Andy needed to fool Dwight Howard, a three-time Defensive Player of the Year. Howard's haphazard effort in atoning for his mistake left a rotating Jordan Hill as the last line of defense between Varejao and the basket.

As it turns out, that wasn't enough to keep Sideshow Bob's doppelganger from Krusty-the-Klowning on L.A.'s lackluster D. Varejao put Hill on a poster with a right-handed dunk coming across the lane.

The evening was supposed to belong to Kyrie Irving, who made his triumphant return from a broken finger against the Lake Show at Quicken Loans Arena. Chances are, though, that he won't be too upset if Andy winds up with ...
