Victor Oladipo Injury: Updates on Magic Guard’s Concussion and Return

Orlando Magic guard Victor Oladipo suffered his second concussion of this season when he was elbowed by Hassan Whiteside of the Miami Heat on Friday. It is uncertain when he will return to the court.

Oladipo May Not Return This Season Saturday, April 9 NBA.com's John Denton revealed Friday night that "Orlando lost standout [Oladipo] to a concussion and a cut over his left eye when he was hit by a Whiteside elbow in the third quarter. Oladipo, who scored 13 points, needed six stitches to close the cut, and he could be lost for the remainder of the season."

Oladipo Vital to Magic's Long-Term Success The 23-year-old Indiana alum is in the midst of his third NBA season, and although his numbers are down slightly from a 2014-15 campaign that saw him put up nearly 18 points per game, Oladipo is still excelling to the tune of 16 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game.

Oladipo is among the top performers on a team that is stacked with young talent and is seemingly ready to become a factor in the Eastern Conference in the very near future.
