Team USA defeated Mexico 86-63 in the FIBA World Cup's round of 16 on Saturday morning. 

Wire-to-wire victors, Team USA was led by the hot shooting of Stephen Curry, who totaled 20 points on 7-of-10 shooting (6-of-9 from three). 

All told, five Americans finished in double figures, including James Harden (12 points), Klay Thompson (15), DeMarcus Cousins (11) and Rudy Gay (10). 

As a team, Mike Krzyzewski's side shot 46.6 percent from the field and 44.8 percent from three. 

However, Derrick Rose disappointed once again, totaling zero points on 0-of-5 shooting while dishing out three assists and committing three turnovers. 

Kenneth Faried and Anthony Davis were both quiet as Team USA's perimeter cogs thrived, scoring eight and four points, respectively. Faried led all players with eight rebounds. 

While Mexico struggled mightily to score against a stout USA defense, Gustavo Ayon led all scorers with 25 points on 11-of-19 shooting. He also led all Mexico players with seven boards.
