Tyrus Thomas to Grizzlies: Latest Contract Details, Comments and Reaction

Looking to capitalize on an opportunity in the Western Conference, the Memphis Grizzlies have reportedly reached an agreement with power forward Tyrus Thomas. 

According to Marc J. Spears of Yahoo Sports, Thomas' pact with the Grizzlies is for 10 days:



However, K.C. Johnson of The Chicago Tribune noted that there's reason to be optimistic that Thomas' stay in Memphis won't be brief:



Thomas has been in the NBA Development League playing for the Iowa Energy this season. He's looking to become a significant NBA contributor again since being amnestied by Charlotte following the 2012-13 season. 

Thomas recently talked to Spears about his journey to get back in the NBA and how being out of the game has affected him:

The last two years I've just been miserable. I hate when people say, 'You're getting paid, so it's cool.' No, it's not [expletive] cool. I'm [expletive] miserable sitting at home.
