Nuggets Reportedly Shopping Lawson to Kings

The Nuggets have missed the playoffs in each of the past two seasons after 10 consecutive playoff appearances, mostly under George Karl. With things heading in the wrong direction, Lawson's days with the organization could be numbered.
The 27-year-old point guard enjoyed another strong season in 2014-15 with 15.2 points and a career-high 9.6 assists per game, but Denver could only muster 30 wins.
With a shakeup of some kind needed desperately, ESPN.com's Chris Broussard is hearing that the Nuggets and the Sacramento Kings could execute a swap of Lawson for forward Rudy Gay.
