Twitter User Draws Funny Associations Between NBA Stars and Random Things

LeBron James has won two championships. Four-year-old Riley Curry has, presumably, been given four birthday cakes (possibly more).

Is there a correlation? Well, no. Can you graph it anyway? Absolutely!

Thanks to the hilariously enjoyable Twitter account Useless Comparisons, this comedic association of non-associated things, along with many others like it, has opened up new avenues for amusing sports expression.

Take, for example, this reference to Adam LaRoche's retirement from the Chicago White Sox.

Or this subtle jab at the Los Angeles Clippers' DeAndre Jordan's infamously inaccurate free-throw shooting.

Alternatively, there's a visual of the reigning MVP's heroically accurate splashes.

And a chuckle at Nike's inability to claim that sort of talent for its brand.

Not to be outdone by his Golden State Warriors teammate, Klay Thompson receives a nod for two of his most exceptional qualities.
