Trajan Langdon Named Nets Assistant GM: Latest Contract Details and Reaction

The Brooklyn Nets named former NBA guard Trajan Langdon assistant general manager on Tuesday. 

General manager Sean Marks spoke further about the team's new hire:

We are very pleased to welcome Trajan and his family to the Brooklyn Nets. Trajan is someone I worked with closely at the [San Antonio] Spurs, and he brings a unique combination of NBA and European experience to the position. Trajan's recent front office post with Cleveland added to his professional resume, and I want to thank the Cavs for their cooperation in this effort. The Nets look forward to Trajan's contributions.

Langdon, 39, was hired as the director of player administration and basketball operations for the Cleveland Cavaliers in September 2015 after three years with the Spurs as a scout.

Langdon is most famous for his time at Duke, where he was a three-time first-team All-ACC selection and finished his career as the school's all-time leader in made three-point field goals. He played three seasons with the Cavaliers in the NBA, averaging 5.4 points and 1.3 assists while shooting 39.6 percent from beyond the arc.
