Tracy McGrady On the Move: The NBA’s Top Players Available For Trade

It's astonishing to see that one-third of the NBA season is already in the books.

While many teams have certainly surprised and others have disappointed, one thing remains constant, and that's trade talk.

Tracy McGrady (SG, HOU)

McGrady has taken a leave of absence from the Houston Rockets after being rejected by head coach Rick Adelman on his request for more playing time.

McGrady returned to action on Dec. 15 after surgery and has averaged just 7.8 MPG in the six games played.

The Rockets are currently 18-12 on the season (sixth in the West) with very impressive wins against the Lakers (in LA) and the Cavaliers.

With players like point guard Aaron Brooks, forwards Trevor Ariza and Carl Landry and, of course, Luis Scola, each stepping up, Adelman clearly believes that giving McGrady additional minutes could possibly alter Houston's success.

McGrady has the highest paying contract in the NBA, receiving $22.8 million on the season.
