Kyle Lowry scored 23 points, Lou Williams added 19 off the bench and the Toronto Raptors outlasted the Washington Wizards, 120-116, in overtime at the Verizon Center Saturday night to win their sixth straight game.

It was the second night in a row the Raptors were able to come away with an overtime victory.

Toronto had a 20-point lead in the third quarter, only to fritter it away down the stretch. With 25.4 seconds remaining in regulation, Paul Pierce sunk a three-pointer to knot things up at 109. Williams then missed a runner for the Raptors, and extra basketball was upon us.

Lowry took over in overtime, scoring six straight Toronto points in the middle of the period. He then iced the game with a free throw to put the Raptors up four with 6.3 seconds left.

Toronto got off to a red-hot start in this game, hitting 10 of its first 12 three-pointers. It ended up shooting 11-of-26 from long range and failed to make a triple in the second half, which played a significant role in the Wizards getting back into the contest.

The Raptors shot 50 percent from the floor overall.
