All these years Bryan Colangelo tried to build around the franchise player Chris Bosh, which was a bed of nails for him.
Bryan Colangelo is a smart GM if nothing else. He might anticipate his likely departure last season and might put together a team according to that vision. Of course, this sounds more like a fantasy than anything.
In any case, Chris Bosh's timely departure is turning out to be a blessing in disguise. Now the team can have a real offensive system and a defensive presence.
