Tomas Satoransky Reportedly to Sign with Wizards: Contract Details, Reaction

Four years after being selected in the second round of the 2012 NBA draft, Tomas Satoransky is finally coming to the Washington Wizards. 

Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical reported the three-year deal, which NBA.com's David Aldridge noted is for $9 million.

Satoransky, the No. 32 overall pick in 2012, has been with FC Barcelona Lassa in Spain since 2014. He was not subject to a rookie-scale contract because he waited three or more years since being selected to come over. Owner Ted Leonsis discussed Satoransky's situation in June, per J. Michael of CSN Mid-Atlantic:

It’s exactly what guys like you say we should do, right? We should use the second-round pick, take a player, stick him in Europe, let them develop and when they’re ready, bring them over.The question is, is he ready? Our basketball people and coach will decide but that was part of a plan. That is an asset maybe we can bring over and he can add a lot of value to the team.

A 6'7" combo guard, Satoransky averaged 9.6 points, 4.2 assists and 2.9 rebounds across 62 games in league and Eurocup play. He ...
