Tobias Harris Injury: Updates on Magic Forward’s Eye and Return

Orlando Magic forward Tobias Harris received seven stitches above his left eye Friday after heading back to the locker room against the Los Angeles Clippers, according to the Orlando Sentinel's Josh Robbins.

Harris Ruled Out Following Treatment Friday, Feb. 5 This could be a difficult setback for the Magic since Harris is one of the most underrated players in the league.

Orlando doesn’t get much national attention, but Harris managed to post 17.1 points and 6.3 rebounds per game last season while carrying his team for long stretches. He is averaging 13.7 points and 7.0 rebounds per contest this season.

He can shoot from behind the three-point line and is versatile enough to attack the basket off the dribble. He can also beat smaller defenders down low at 6’9” or shoot over them.

The team will likely ask a number of youngsters to fill the void while Harris is out.
