After having his stock threatened by a controversy over his age, Thon Maker heard his name called early in the 2016 NBA draft Thursday, when the Milwaukee Bucks selected him with the 10th pick.
As Sports Illustrated's Jake Fischer reported earlier in the day, multiple sources believe Maker is between 21 and 23 years old rather than 19.
Twitter naturally had a lot to say about a prospect who was polarizing even before questions about his age arose.
