The New Superteam: Chris Paul, Carmelo Anthony, and Amare Stoudemire

Have hope Knicks fans, big things could be happening soon. 

Chris Paul is demanding a trade before the beginning of the next season, fuming that he's unhappy with the Hornet's management. Paul's demands stem from the team's hiring of Monty Williams, a 38-year-old coach (and youngest coach in the NBA), and his close friend and ex-NBA teammate Dell Demps as the team's General Manager. 

On top of his list of potential teams (he'd like to be traded to) is the Knicks. Second on his list is Orlando, and further down are Dallas and Portland. 

Concerning Carmelo Anthony, ESPN reported that "Anthony has until next June 30 to sign the extension, and the Nuggets have said they have no intention of trading Anthony. While most league executives believe Anthony will sign the extension, several sources close to him said he will not sign and that his ultimate desire is to play in New York."

With Carmelo leaning towards playing for the Knicks, and Chris Paul trying to orchestrate his move to the city of lights, there's definitely a chance for this situation to work out.
