There is no debating at this current moment in sports that Kobe Bryant is far above any other current basketball superstar.

Imagine in the early 90's actually having a discussion about someone at or above Michael Jordan's level. No one would have ever imagined it to be possible.

The Lakers know they have a top notch superstar in Kobe Bryant and he deserves the acknowledgment that he is one of the greatest basketball players of all time.

There comes a time where fans and the organization need to face the facts and know that Kobe Bryant may have only a few good years left in him. While he continues to add on to what is one of the greatest careers ever, LeBron James is just reaching his prime.

That great title fight of LeBron James vs. Kobe Bryant for the NBA Championship is starting to get old and like Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather, we have moved on.

Kobe has proved that he can lead his team and close whatever game or situation is put his way, but the Lakers have a chance to look towards the future and no future is brighter than LeBron James.
