Before LeBron James came into the NBA, he was dubbed as the next Michael Jordan. He had so much hype at the age of 18 years old. His nickname in high school was King James and rightfully so he had dominated high school basketball. The question was during that time how would LeBron James respond in his first NBA game?

In his first game as a professional, he scored 25 points, nine assists, and six rebounds for the Cleveland Cavaliers. It was a great beginning to the King's career and a precursor for what was yet to come.

In just his third year, he averaged 31.4 points per game, seven rebounds and 6.6 assists per game.

The next year he led the Cavaliers to the NBA Finals, where they lost to the San Antonio Spurs in four games.

Since the 2006-2007 season LeBron James has led the Cavaliers to the playoffs. The best season for the franchise was last year when they led the NBA in wins.

Last season was his first MVP season, and he contributed to the Cavaliers getting to the Eastern Conference Finals. They lost in the Eastern Conference Finals against the Orlando Magic.
