The Impact of Travis Outlaw’s Injury

By now, you know that Travis Outlaw was injured in last night's game. He has a stress fracture to his fifth metatarsal of his foot. Martell had the same injury last year and it will be interesting to see if the Blazers are extra careful with bringing him back after the eight weeks timetable.

There's a lot more to this story, as it relates to the way people see this affecting the team. Since last night I've gotten the feeling that some Blazer fans think this injury may actually help the team. Is it possible that losing one of our top scorers off the bench would actually help the Blazers?

There are fans out there who believe this to be true.

More then any other Blazer player, there is a strong divide about the impact Travis Outlaw has on this organization. We all love his occasional high-flying dunk and flashes of athleticism. We also love his unconscious ability to hit a big shot in a clutch situation. Travis has no fear and appears to feel no pressure.
