The “Catch-22 Three”: Miami’s Trio Can Never Win With The Naysayers

The jealous masses have spoken.

If the Miami Heat with their "Big 3" don't win the NBA Championship within the next two years, they are an epic failure.  With their talent, they should win it all with ease.  Otherwise, they're choke artists... or selfish egomaniacs who can't coexist... or money grubbing prima donnas who aren't willing to put in the work.

On the other hand, if they do win, they will not have earned it.  Rather, it would be the product of their collusive, underhanded, and contrived conspiracy to take over the league.

To that, I say... "nonsense!"

First of all, there is nothing at all wrong with the Big 3's decision to play together in Miami.  They did so within the rules, and for their own reasons.  Cleveland can scream about it... Chicago and New York can cry about it.... but, in the end, their biggest lament is that they couldn't pull off the deals that Riley was able to complete.

There is still work to do.  This is a new team that needs to learn to play together, and to maximize their skills.  Nothing will be handed to them.  In the end, they'll have to go through t ...
