Terry Stotts Says Golden State Warriors Will Finish with Best Record Ever

Following a 20-point loss to the Golden State Warriors on Friday night, Portland Trail Blazers head coach Terry Stotts predicted the Dubs will make history in 2015-16.

According to Sean Michael Meagher of OregonLive.com, Stotts believes the defending NBA champions will win more games this season than any team has in NBA history:



Golden State is currently 34-2, which puts it on pace to surpass the Chicago Bulls' 72-10 record set in 1995-96.

Provided MVP candidate Stephen Curry can avoid further injury to his shin and key players like Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, Andre Iguodala and Harrison Barnes remain healthy as well, the Warriors have a great chance to make a run at the all-time mark.



Even if they do surpass the Bulls, though, TNT NBA analyst and Basketball Hall of Famer Charles Barkley has little doubt the Warriors wouldn't be able to stand up to that team on the court, according to what he said on ESPN Radio's Waddle and Silvy in December (h/t ESPN.com):
