Talking Points: Would Toronto Be Wise in Trading Chris Bosh This Summer?

Bryan Colangelo has a dilemma on his hands: consider trading Chris Bosh for an attractive package, or consider signing him to a long-term deal while stifling the team's chances of signing more high-calibre talent.

Right now, as things still stand, the Toronto Raptors could find themselves in an unthinkable position: losing out on the playoffs for a second straight season.

It's a possibility that has Raptors fans worried, pundits wondering whether the moves Colangelo made last summer were smart enough, and Chris Bosh himself at this point of the season still contemplating his future.

Toronto would be better off if they decided to trade Bosh, but the Raptors should also consider the chance of trading Hedo Turkoglu as well.

The reason for Hedo's inclusion should be that the Raptors could end up acquiring pieces that can fit Colangelo's long term vision.

Colangelo could possibly swing a deal with a contending team who could be on the lookout for a player of Turkoglu's talent. Turkoglu is known as a crunch-time player, the type who can run with the ball and make a last daring shot.
