Suns-Spurs Game Two: Observations, Kids and “Lost”

Wednesday night was for me, like many Phoenix fans, a very good night. Here is how the game went and thoughts I had while watching a very satisfying 110-102 Suns victory:

I'm spoiled by "my" plasma TV downstairs. Of course "my" TV meant that I had to go upstairs and watch the non-HD broadcast while the wife and kids watched the previously recorded "American Idol" for the entire second quarter.

I loved that this year's version of the Suns does not panic or completely check out when given any adversity. I might be remembering things differently, but it seems to me that previous teams might not have been able to fight back as quickly as the Suns did in the second quarter.

It has been said ad nauseum , but Jared Dudley was playing out of his mind. His effort may have been THE deciding factor in getting back into the game in the second quarter. I must admit, though, that watching him gives me hope that I can play professional basketball. I think I might jump higher, and I am 6', 215 pounds.

It is something still new and refreshing to me as a fan to see a second unit produce, even after watching an entire season. It is also very entert ...
