The Phoenix Suns will induct Steve Nash into their Ring of Honor on October 30, according to the team's website.
Other notable inductees into the Ring of Honor include Charles Barkley, Kevin Johnson, Paul Westphal and Connie Hawkins.
Nash, 41, spent 10 seasons with the Suns in two different stints, averaging 14.4 points and 9.4 assists with the team (and 14.3 points and 8.5 assists per game in his career). He led Phoenix to the postseason five times, was a two-time MVP during his second stint with the organization and was voted to the All-Star Game eight times in his career.
His 10,335 assists are third all time behind only John Stockton and Jason Kidd, and his 90.4 percent free-throw percentage is the best in NBA history.
Fox Sports Arizona reminisced on Nash's time with the Suns:
Without question, Nash will be a Hall of Famer when he is eligible for the honor, and he'll be remembered as one of the greatest Suns of all time. He was the catalyst of Phoenix's exciting, floor-spacing offense under coach Mike D'Antoni, and his greatest years were spent with the Suns.
