Steve Kerr Leaves the Phoenix Suns Searching

It's been awhile since Steve Kerr found himself celebrating a championship.

Apparently he won't be doing it with the Phoenix Suns. According to an article posted here , the Suns General Manager and President of Basketball Operations will call it quits when his contract expires at the end of June.

While the former Bulls and Spurs champion sharp-shooter and role-player has felt the glow of an NBA Finals victory, his days in Phoenix weren't nearly as successful as his playing days. Lauded for the turnaround the world witnessed this season with his squad, his departure leaves more questions than answers for Suns fans who are already concerned about expiring contracts, free-agency, player age, and that hump Phoenix has yet to climb over.

Kerr is leaving one of the most successful franchises in the past decade not named San Antonio, Los Angeles, or Boston. In his wake, the Suns face challenges.

Kerr may be "exploring opportunities in broadcasting" as the article states, or he may know something us fans don't.
