Steve Kerr Handwrites Letter to Woman Seeking Advice on Back Surgery Recovery

Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr's recovery from offseason back surgeries has been well-documented.

Interim coach Luke Walton told reporters Tuesday that Kerr appears to be improving but is "still struggling."

One woman, however, was seeking more personal advice from the coach on recovery after also undergoing surgery—and she got it.

The coach responded to her request with a handwritten letter, admitting he doesn't have "any cures" but rather they must trust their bodies will heal with time.

Here's the full transcription:

Thank you for your letter and your support. I certainly feel your pain and know what you are going through. I am fighting to return to [normal] as well. Unfortunately I don't have any cures. I think that we must trust our bodies to heal themselves with time. All the best and good luck [with] your recovery. Go Dubs.
