Stephen Curry Wins 2015 NBA 3 Point Contest: Scores, Highlights and Reaction

At least for one night, Stephen Curry won the battle of the Splash Brothers. Curry scored 27 points, including a stretch of 13 straight makes, to defeat teammate Klay Thompson and Cavaliers guard Kyrie Irving and take the 2015 Foot Locker Three-Point Contest.

Shooting after Irving put up 17 points to start the final round, Curry took the wind out of Thompson's sails with a jaw-dropping display of shooting. The Warriors star hit 13 straight shots on the third, fourth and fifth racks, atoning from a shaky start to leave the Barclays Center roaring in appreciation. Thompson, with the pressure mounting following Curry's barrage, finished in third place with 14 points. 



Perhaps the MVP of the NBA's first half, Curry is the first Golden State player to win the three-point contest. The win also helps him atone for his first three appearances in the contest, when perhaps the league's purest shooter went home empty-handed in a series of disappointing performances.
