Two-time NBA MVP Steve Nash is reportedly in talks to join the Golden State Warriors coaching staff, and that has 2014-15 NBA MVP Stephen Curry pretty excited.
Why? Because he believes the addition of Nash will finally give the team a "decent coach."
ESPN.com's Marc Stein reported Tuesday that Nash is in "advanced negotiations" to join Golden State's coaching staff. Stein added that Nash would take on the role of part-time player development consultant.
On Wednesday, Curry posted a picture of him and Nash on the court together a few years back with the following caption: "Finally we get a decent coach around here...[eyes emoji]."
Oh snap.
Curry is obviously just having some fun with his coaches. There were some questions about whether or not Steve Kerr was the right choice for the Warriors job, but after he led the team to a championship in his first season as coach, those concerns are gone.
