Stephen Curry Comments on Swollen Elbow After Game 2 Win vs. Thunder

Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry took a hard tumble into the stands during the first quarter of Wednesday night's 118-91 Game 2 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder, but he told reporters after the blowout that his right (shooting) elbow is doing fine following the scare. 

"Elbow’s fine," Curry said, according to ESPN's J.A. Adande. "It looks like it has a tennis ball on top of it, but it doesn’t affect range of motion."

Curry also told reporters his elbow swelled up after hitting it on a "metal platform," per Sports Illustrated's Ben Golliver. 



ESPN.com's Tim MacMahon snapped a picture of Curry at his postgame press conference with a wrap around the elbow: 



The NBA's reigning MVP finished Game 2 with a team-high 28 points, 17 of which came during a third-quarter outburst that saw Golden State outscore Oklahoma City, 31-19. 

Based on the way Curry performed in the game's third frame, it was clear the fall didn't adversely affect his ability to fire away from long range.
