As a way of saying goodbye to (now) former teammate David Lee, Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry tweeted out one of his fondest moments from their relationship.
On Tuesday afternoon, ESPN's Marc Stein reported the Warriors had reached an agreement to trade Lee to the Boston Celtics. With the move, the 32-year-old big man's five-year run in the Bay Area is now over.
The trade meant it was time for Curry to say goodbye to one of his buddies. The reigning NBA MVP said farewell by tweeting out a throwback video of a young Curry and Lee going head-to-head in a game.
Now, we look forward to seeing Curry and Lee play against each other in the future. Maybe Lee can get back at Curry and make some highlights of his own against his former teammate.
